The mission of the County Budget Office is to provide quality and timely financial information to promote the long-term fiscal integrity and stability of Williamsburg County Government.
Responsibilities
The Budget Office is a part of the County Supervisor’s Office and reports directly to the County Supervisor. The Budget Office is responsible for preparing and managing the County’s annual budget and five year Capital Improvement Plan.
The Budget Office with the input of the Controller’s Office and other departments projects revenues, estimates expenditures, and continually monitors the County budgets to ensure that the approved annual budget is followed and that budget transfers and amendments are prepared to maintain the approved budget.
Budgetary & Fiscal Recommendations
The Budget Office also prepares budgetary and fiscal recommendations on budget management and procedures for the County Supervisor, County Council, and the various County departments.
