Demand Response Schedules

Williamsburg County Transit is interested in your transportation needs. Transportation services will be provided for citizens of Williamsburg County to and from doctor visits, pharmacies, and resource agencies in and around the Kingstree areas. 

Services will be provided Monday through Friday for areas as listed in the schedules provided on this page. Please remember that you must call 24 hours in advance. We request that you arrange your appointment times between the hours of 9 am to 2 pm.

Fees

Passengers in the city limits of Kingstree pay $2 one way. Passengers out of Kingstree city limits pay $3 one way.

Title XIX Non-Emergency Medicaid Program

Transportation service is also provided by Williamsburg County Transit System for clients of the Title XIX Non-Emergency Medicaid Program. If you have Medicaid and need transportation to hospitals or doctor appointments, call Francis Bufkin for more information at 843-355-9706, ext. 102.

After contacting Ms. Bufkin you will need to contact Logisticare at 866-445-9954 to schedule your appointment for Williamsburg County Transit System to pick you up.

Williamsburg County Transit System is a public non-profit transportation provider for citizens of Williamsburg County. Service is also provided for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) recipients as required.
